Redwood Summer is a book that merges fiction and reality, asking the reader “Who is Olivia?”.
It devides fiction and reality through text and pictures, the right side and left side brought together by one word: Olivia.
The right side is the story of Olivia Vandergriff, from the Pulitzer Prize winning book “The Overstory” by Richard Powers. The left side shows auto generated screenshots from the documentary Redwood Summer: Where the 90s Begin
